Custom Method Development

Using custom resin techniques and protocols, Wax-it can process, section, and stain a large array of medical devices and materials, from bare metal and plastic to bio-absorptive materials. Wax-it will work with you to develop protocols specific to your implantable medical device. Wax-it works with a variety of resins to best match the corresponding material and or device. Wax-it can also conduct immunohistochemistry work on medical devices.

Medical Device Tissue Interaction Analysis

Images A and B highlight surrounding tissue that is interacting with a bare-metal stent, embedded within the arterial wall. Using high powered imaging software, customized reports can be generated to score for pathological analysis.
