Antibody Testing & Validation
Wax-it Histology Services provides antibody testing and antibody validation services to help our clients reach their research milestones. At Wax-it Histology Services, we work with you to test and validate antibodies that have not previously been tested for use in immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. We follow stringent antibody validation protocols to ensure credible and reproducible results, conserving your valuable time and resources.
Our in-house Tissue Bank/Tissue MacroArray Bank - a collection of tissues from multiple species of mouse, rat, pig, rabbit, and monkey - allows us to probe for proteins of interest against multiple tissues on a single slide, for staining validation and controls and a complete antibody cross-reactivity profile. Human tissue slides are also available upon request
Once immunohistochemical staining is complete, Wax-it performs a high resolution digital whole slide scan of each stained tissue section. Our final report will include staining conditions and ready to publish images.
